The Green Busters

Since 2016 we have had an in-house environmental task force called «The Green Busters». The group meets regularly, with the mission to make the Hotel Schweizerhof Bern & Spa more environmentally friendly. In this context, several projects have already been implemented or are in the starting blocks. For example, the group decided that we could use vegetable leftovers to make our own vegetable salt – reducing food waste. The Green Busters also introduced the concept of food boxes to the hotel, allowing guests to take food home that they didn’t finish when dining in our restaurants.myclimate

Since 2017 we have been proud members of the climate protection foundation myclimate! Together with myclimate, we determine our annual CO2 emissions and implement various measures to continuously reduce them. As part of the "Cause We Care" initiative, our guests have the opportunity to participate in our commitment to sustainability and make their stay with us climate-neutral. We double every "Cause We Care" contribution made by our guests and invest in local and global climate protection measures.
